JobStarts Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to empower low income and under-resourced individuals by teaching financial responsibility. Through our employment services for the unemployed, disabled SSI and SSDI beneficiaries, business classes and financial literacy programs, JobStarts Inc. aims to improve our communities’ economic well being by enabling the underserved to become active participants in the revitalization of Southern Los Angeles.

The digital transition takes place February 17, 2009. If your analog TV uses "rabbit ears" or a rooftop antenna and is not connected to cable, satellite or other pay service, you will need a converter box to keep your analog TV working. The Federal government is providing assistance. All U.S. households are able to request up to two, $40 coupons to help pay for the cost of certified TV converter boxes. Come learn more about the digital TV transition and sign-up for your coupon at this event.
